About DialHunter
DialHunter helps anyone buy a vintage watch with confidence.
Most people don't have a watch geek friend. We're the next best thing. We monitor the vintage watch market every day, across specialist dealers and eBay in the UK, US, Europe and Japan, so you know when a watch is a good deal for its condition, and when it isn't.
17,487 watches for sale right now. 19 brands. Checked every day.
What you get
- Vintage watches from specialist dealers and eBay, in one place, free to search.
- A straight answer on price: whether a watch is a good deal for its condition, or not.
- Our guides and vintage watch glossary, so you can read a listing like an expert.
- Found one you like? A Watch Check gives you a second opinion on up to six watches: which to buy, what to pay and what to ask the seller.
What we're not
- Not a shop. We don't sell watches or hold stock. When you buy, you buy from the seller.
- Not paid to say nice things. Dealers can't pay to change what we say about a watch.
- Not a collectors' club. No jargon without an explanation, and no question is too basic.
- Not an authenticator. We can spot warning signs in photos, prices and descriptions. We can't certify a watch we haven't held.
Who built it
DialHunter was founded in 2026 by Simon, who wanted a quality watch to mark a milestone but didn't know where to start, what a fair price was, or who to trust. So he built the thing he wished had existed.
